Fair Credit and Charge Card Disclosure Act
Under this Act, credit and charge companies must provide you with information about their terms.
Features like Annual Percentage Rates (APRs), cash advances, and annual fees may vary from one card to another.
Cards may charge different APRs for purchases than they do for cash advances, and the APR may change.
Card issuers are required to disclose their terms in writing at the time you apply. If a card company offers you
a written "pre-approved" credit solicitation, the offer must include these written terms. Also, card issuers must
inform customers if they make certain changes in rates or coverage for credit insurance.
